Open statewide leadership positions on committees include:

• State Director (2) - Participates on the State Executive & CD8 Executive Committees.

• At-Large State Central Committee Member (7) - Participates on the State Central & CD8 Central Committees.

• Budget Committee (1) - State Standing Committee for two years.

• Outreach and Inclusion (2)  - State Standing Committee for two years.

• Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules (2)  - State Standing Committee for two years.

• Party Affairs and Coordinated Campaign (2)  - State Standing Committee for two years.

• Platform, Issues, and Legislative Affairs (2)  - State Standing Committee for two years.

The CD8 leadership positions are:

• Chair - Runs meetings and leads the CD8 unit alongside the Executive Committee. Member of the State Executive Committee.

• Associate Chair (different gender than Chair) - Assists Chair, runs meetings and leads the CD8 unit alongside the Executive Committee. Member to the State Executive Committee.

• Outreach and Inclusion Officer - Member of State Outreach & Inclusion Committee. Leads as an officer member of the CD8 Executive Committee.

• Treasurer - Responsible alongside Chair for state campaign finance reporting. Leads as an officer member of the CD8 Executive Committee.

• Secretary - Communicates on behalf of CD8. Leads as an officer member of the CD8 Executive Committee.

• Directors (11 positions) - Guides CD8 as the governing body, approves expenditures and contributions alongside the officer positions above. 

Candidates can be nominated from the floor and may have the opportunity to speak briefly at the Convention.
